Fallout Zero is a similar thing for Fallout 3. There's also Dust for NV and Frost for 4, both from the same creator, which both take place in (modified) versions of the base game maps but with completely original storylines. The Frontier released recently for New Vegas but was taken down again for some pretty suspect content (there was an underage sex slave companion and the writer behind it was pretty suspicious), it was pretty feature-complete and technically impressive apart from that though, and I think one of the devs is planning on re-releasing it without all the weird shit.

I've never actually played any of them extensively so can't comment on their quality, but New California is probably the biggest one, pretty 'complete' and a decent chunk of new content with its own suite of mods to fix and add to it.

And that isn't mythos you actually do find his body parts and you do realize that Nirn is 'built'. Nirn, its moons Masser and Secundus are the left overs of Lorkhan the 'false god' who was not an Aedra and thus mortals are born from him. The celestial bodies of Mundus are actual beings that can be conversed with (Vivec seduced the comet/planetoid, Baar Dau, that became the Ministry of Truth). Well I mean more on the fact that Nirn and by extension Tamriel is an artificial construct by the Aedra.
